 Thankfully, the first book I read this year is a 5-star one. Circe is a bit slower-paced than The Song of Achilles, and some parts dragged too much my eyes were tempted to skip over paragraphs. But I enjoyed the book overall because of the beautiful writing. Circe's mind was a marvel to be in, despite her grief and sadness. I was rooting for her the entire time.

 Looking forward to more books from Madeline Miller.
