Jase has found himself in some trouble with the law and needs to change his image, so that a judge will sign off on leaving the country. When he needs time to himself, Jace hides out at a coffee shop and overhears Hendrix talking to her ex and decides he needs to make an impression. What he didn't expect is to find the woman he would be willing to enter into a marriage of convenience and maybe so much more.

Hendrix owns her own bakery but is struggling a little after separating from her boyfriend. She is strong, independent, and full of sass. She agrees to the arrangement and expects to be able to get what she needs while moving on from her ex at the same time. Hendrix is Jase's opposite, but she makes him a better person and encourages him to be who she sees him as. She shows him what life could be like, how love works, and crumbles the walls he has built.

This was a great story, the characters were relatable, and very well written. I was hooked on their story and I highly recommend. I am looking forward to the next book of the series.
