Once again, Moreno-Garcia stuns in her newest novel with her glimpse into classic Hollywood--and many hardships people of color face in the entertainment industry. While simultaneously offering us a retelling of Salome, we see Vera Larios' own life mirrored in the character she is cast to play. 

so beautiful, so heartbreaking. Vera Larios will always be loved by me!!!!
