This book unfortunately just didn't work for me. The writing is really well done, but the instalove was unbelievable. It just happened way too fast, even for a romance book. I struggled to connect with any of the characters, just because I found their behaviors to be unrealistic. There also really should be a content warning since Tyler's

daughter almost drowned and died

. I did enjoy seeing Tyler step up and take care of Serene. He was really sweet and devoted to her which was absolutely adorable.
