Overall, I liked this way more than I thought I would! I dont read a lot of romances but this was one of the best written ones Ive read by far. The writing was strong, easy to follow, and the story had a really nice pace. This book is thick but Casey packs in a LOT to this novel.

I think the main knock would just be having to suspend my disbelief in parts of this book to make the story work. I know its fiction and that’s the point, but I struggled at times when, for example,
they were constantly emailing VERY slutty things to each other and only once did Alex think of whatd happen if it got leaked? I know they had it come up as a consequence but that felt like the least of what was hard to believe.

I also personally just struggle sometimes when romances get TOO sweet, so if you dont like overly sweet books, there are sections you may have to gloss over - again, emails for me were the ones I ended up just skip reading over to get through quickly.

Overall though, still a fun read, truly felt like an unrealistic fantasy but I enjoyed the ride!
