I honestly thought I was going to hate it when I found out it was epistolary style, but I really didn’t hate it for that reason. It made for a compulsive read that kept the pages turning quickly (from my perspective as a slow reader.)

What I did hate was that is was basically a mashup of fraudsters Anna Sorokin and Elizabeth Holmes (right down to the detail of the deep voice). It just didn’t feel unique or original. It was completely predictable, and yet I just kept turning the pages…

Was it a compulsive read? Yes. Would I recommend it? No.
