I am obsessed with this book.

Clytemnestra is a study in contradictions. She is by turns vengeful and merciful, loving and vicious, vile and awe-inspiring. Casati manages to hold these contradictions and craft a believable picture of a very complicated figure. I went through so many emotions reading this and I’m not sure that I’ve fully processed it yet. But this is easily going to be one of my favorite books of the entire year.
