Livia is on the run from a crappy situation. She's got a mean ex with an axe to grind, and she's afraid of what will happen if he catches up to her. For a year she's been safe, flying under the radar, but her time is up and she knows it. Nash shows up to fill in at the brewery for his dad and walks straight into a pair of handcuffs, not prepared to be mistaken for one of Livia's ex's henchmen. When Livia realizes it's the handsome man she dashed out of the bar on a year ago, things become more complicated than she anticipated. Nash doesn't know what haunts her, but he wants to look out for her. Livia doesn't want anyone to get more involved in her problems, but she can't help growing closer to him despite her fears. Nash is the opposite of the walking red flags her ex was, but that still won't keep either of them safe. What follows is a story of a strong woman reclaiming her life, and the amazing man who stands beside her through the tough moments that involves. I adored Nash's personality, and it's easy to see why he's so swoon-worthy here. This was a hard-fought HEA for both our main characters, but I loved every minute of this one!
