Cozy story, but was left wanting a bit more magic & definitely a few more explanations on the magic.
Some of the family dynamics, particularly what seemed like expected apologies especially during grief, were a bit bothersome. Given that part of the story seems to be the family coming together again, it would be nice if they worked on setting some healthier boundaries. Also, it's a bit confusing to me that the townfolk know-but-don't-really-know-they're-witches and Brynn has been helping pass on final words in the past.
