Such a sweet, magical book. I loveee love love the atmosphere of this story -- I heard it was similar to the house in the cerulean sea, and it totally is in its own special way. I really liked that the line between real life and fantasy was blurred just beautifully. The characters were also lovely, and although our protagonist Zoey wasn't particularly strong or the main focus of the book, I found that she was really loveable. I almost feel like I wanted to have more time to really know the characters, but by the end, I think I was very content with who they'd developed into.
