Feminist scientist and a spy in a regency romance? Yes please! Loved the diverse cast of characters and themes of believing the risks of love are worth it. The story took a moment for me to find its footing; I think that’s because you meet an onslaught of characters in the first few pages that lay a foundation for the whole series. Loved having a heroine who was fat/had explicitly gained weight.
Graphic: Sexual content, Deadnaming, and Transphobia
Moderate: Body shaming
