The Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling
3.0

This was an alright book, but it felt like it took a long time to read (it really didn't take that long). The pacing was alright, but compared to others I've read, it felt a little slow.
Mowgli was a nice boy, so it was sad when he had to leave the jungle due to them rejecting him. I was also sad when the men rejected him because he was able to speak to the wolves - he had just killed Shere Khan and then they were saying he was bad - what else do they expect when they know he was raised in the jungle?
Overall, it was an alright book, but it just wasn't one of my favorites.
