I've binged three of these Dot books in a row, and unfortunately this is where I'm falling off.

There's nothing inherently bad about this book, and it's an interesting dive into the pasts of our Quantico three. However, it diverts heavily from the first book especially. As we focus mainly on the FBI characters rather than the victims in these horrid crimes.

I thought the exploration of victim to perp was interesting. I thought Mercedes back story was done thoughtfully.

It's not a bad book, it just doesn't focus on what I liked about the first two.
