5/5- Firstly, I have to say that I didn’t know what to expect when I started reading the story, but I figured it was gonna be something that I was going to truly enjoy and I was not wrong. This story has warmed my heart in a way that shows there’s good people in this world.
What I truly loved about this story was Justice’s heart. The way he cared for people and Cyani was one of the most beautiful things. He never talked down to her and he protected her. This black man protected this black woman and I’m here for it!! He refused to be disrespectful to anyone and he definitely didn’t allow anyone to disrespect him either. He loved her and her brothers authentically. He remained who he was at the core and this warmed my heart.
I loved their connection. Their friendship was beautiful and I’m so glad she wrote and displayed it in this manner. His family also was beautiful. I would love to read about those brothers of his because I can definitely see something good coming from those relationships.
