The Watchmaker of Filigree Street
by Natasha Pulley
This was a fast, entertaining read. I rarely pick up unknown books from library shelves anymore, but nothing on my wish list was available and I was waiting for my kid to pick his books. The cover intrigued me. The book was more interesting and mind bendy than I expected, in an unsettling and clever way. It was also a sweet story of friendship, which I loved. I almost want to retread the whole thing now that I know...well, you'll have to read it yourself to find out. Maybe I should randomly browse the "new fiction" shelves more often.
