A great sequel in this world of casters and mortals alike. With the introduction to other creatures and creations in this story that opens up a great line of characters and storylines. I enjoyed the quest like plot this book took, going around the tunnels under Gatlin and explore more about the Duchanes family. Was frustrated with the jealous between Ethan and Lena around both their additional other gendered friends, it did feel slightly immature however these characters are teenagers. Loved the romantic banter between Link and Ridley and the ending felt like it set up for the next book well
