Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling

You know.. Now that miss God herself is a little less untouchable and I can take a step back from her work and see that while she has a wonderful story, Rowling isn't my favorite author (even despite how she acts). It's really just nothing special. I think it's because this was almost TOO big to get some kind of intimate experience with the characters towards the end. I feel like fans are the ones who brought these books alive and now they're just trying to hold their own. Harry is honestly an asshole... Honestly I much prefer movie Harry. He may be more stupid, but at least he's nice. I kept waiting for redemption qualities to pop out to compensate for him being a dick but it doesn't happen. Idk this was just so much more lack luster than it used to be. Pity.
