Sorcery of Thorns by Margaret Rogerson

4.0

- 4/5
- really appreciated that this was a standalone FANTASY !! we don't get those too much (there is a sequel novella that is rather fluffy though)
- romantic subplot, but still very much there and much appreciated
- enemies to lovers eeeek
- such beautiful, descriptive writing that really draws you into the world i felt like i was really there, but at times, the overly descriptive settings were a bit much and detracted from the plot?
- my heart was ripped out so many times because of sila BUT the open ending confirms that
Spoiler he is well and kicking it :')

- loved elisabeth's unwavering friendship with the BOOKS and katrien
- highly recommend if you want a wonderfully magical world with a badass female lead AND enemies to lovers with the snarkiest male lead
