That was so surprisingly good. It's been several years since I've read the Night Huntress series and I've missed these characters and this author's writing style. She sure knows how to write smokin' hot scenes. I loved Vlad and I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked Leila. I liked that she was a strong heroine and stood up to Vlad. It was nice to have cameos with Bones, Cat, and Mencheres as well.
Overall, great start to this series and I can't wait to dive into the next book.
