The Magic of Reality: How We Know What's Really True
by Richard Dawkins
definitely not for me.
to be honest, this one is a really good science communication book. Dawkins wrote everything in a simple language yet everything is well-described. i think this will suit for a general audience, or as a bedtime story for your kids aged up to 15 or just to help them understanding science in a non-boring, relatable way (unlike the confusing textbooks we all ever had in elementary school). but this comes with a price in which it slows down the pace and removes the thoroughness that i wished to see.
