Then You Saw Me
by Carrie Aarons
4.5 stars
This is the first book I have read by this author and it did not disappoint. When I read the blurb for Then You Saw Me, I had to get my hands on this book.
I’m a huge sucker for the unrequited love and forced proximity trope. If you enjoy those two tropes, then I think this is the book is for you.
I absolutely loved Taya and Austin. I loved how vulnerable they were with all their insecurities and struggles. I felt like this made them both easy to relate to. I loved watching them grow and fight for what they wanted.
Even though this was a slow burn romance, its quite obvious that these characters have a deep attraction for one another. I enjoyed reading the development that these two went through all throughout this book.
This group of friends/roommates were fun to read. I can’t wait to read more about this group of friends.
I’m definitely going to have to check out more from this author.
*I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book.
