Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh oh my god okay. Oh my god. Okay.
I love this book with my whole heart. I finished reading it about 20 seconds ago and I’m crying. Tears are streaming down my face. My makeup is ruined, but my life is better having read this.
It is beautiful, the romance between Henry and Alex, the friendships between all the characters, the quotes the boys would sign off their emails with had me melting.
I wish this alternate world was real, but alas we live in a world where a man like Richards sits in the White House.
5is book was a wonderful escape for the couple days I read it, and although I sped through it I did not want it to end.
The ONLY reason this book is four stars and not five is because I really hate it when authors throw in somewhat cringy pop culture references. It’s why I don’t particular like Adam Silvera or Becky Albertali, and the references will probably age poorly but they weren’t as bad as others I’ve read, it’s just something picky for me.

I recommend this book to a everyone and anyone who wants a bit of wholesome love in their life.
