A gothic tale of a haunting with lots of twists. It became very confusing who was alive mid-way through and why the blame was on Miles without a cause mentioned. I did enjoy the writing style. I think a full circle debrief at the end with the storyteller in chapter 1 would have helped lessen the confusion.
