This is a great read for lovers of Japanese short fiction. The little vinyettes of strangers (and not so strangers) provided a heartwarming glimpse of every day life that, at least for me, restored some faith in humanity. At times I felt a little confused by Japanese cultural references or jokes, but I found I was able to move past it and still enjoy the pure heart of this little book.
