Sara Miller's debut novel, Until Then, is a difficult and slow-paced read. This five-star read is character-driven, with a great plot to back it up and keep the story flowing smoothly. The plot picks up around the eighth chapter, while the relationship simmers. Sutton attended high school with Greer but has since become friends with her as an adult. Luke, Greer's romantic interest, is a firefighter and Sutton's brother. Luke and Greer have a convoluted history, which is revealed in the early chapters. Longer chapters serve to cover Greer and Luke's points of view as they switch back and forth. Author Sara Miller expertly delivers a complex story about how to deal with grief while learning to move forward and find love again. Release date: February 5th, 2025. I highly recommend Sara Miller's debut work, Until then. Grief rep, dual point of view, small town, second chance romance, man in uniform, near proximity, and deliciously spicy are some of the tropes. For readers aged 18 and up, this story addresses challenging issues such as post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, and flashbacks.
