Moonlighter by Sarina Bowen
4.0
It's an impressive feat when an author makes me like a heroine who has acted as a bit of a villain in a previous book. It's extra impressive when that heroine's story includes a pregnancy. However, it's a challenge author Sarina Bowen knocked out of the park with Alex, the heroine of 'Moonlighter.' Readers might remember Alex's poor behavior from Brooklynaire. However, her behavior was explained, and she redeemed herself in my eyes in Moonlighter.
This forced proximity, friends-to-lovers story was an entertaining addition to the Brooklyn Bruisers world. It also sets up a new series with The Company. There was an unresolved mystery to this one though, and I hope that's taken care of in a future book.
