I thought this was cute, actually more than cute (👀) but I still felt that there was more to be desired. Some of the writing felt a little repetitive but it wasn’t a big issue. Even with how short this was, I was curious about the background history that was mentioned a few times and wished to know more. It sounded really interesting! Anyways, if you want a Black paranormal romance, definitely get this.
