I really enjoyed this book, I found Faron and Elara to be excellent protagonists. Elara, pragmatic and noble to her very core, while Faron is a wild card of just *vibes* most of the time, were great opposites of each other, and an interesting way to show differences in siblings while their values mostly aligned.

My favourite quote, I have to say would be Faron's:
"She'd always been good at this part: bargaining, haggling, lying. Gael Soto was all confidence, all ageless radiance, but she was a little shit."

The small cliffhanger got me good, and I will be waiting eagerly for the next book :)
