Cross My Heart by Megan Collins

4.0

"Surviving was a choice, and it's one that, every single day, for more than a year now, I've been brave enough to make."

TAYLOR SWIFT, THIS BOOK IS FOR YOU.

Rosie was living a perfectly normal life before she got dumped by her ex and her heart stopped working. After receiving a new heart, Rosie connects with her late donor's husband through an anonymous donor chat. She has a feeling she's speaking to the famous local author, Morgan Thorne, and begins to doubt that his wife's death was truly accidental.

Megan Collins has done it again! Every single book she comes out with is so vastly different from any of her other works, but just as bingeable.

CROSS MY HEART is told partly through emails, which I found highly effective - each of the narrators are sharing what they want to...not necessarily the truth 👀 and the twists were delicious and kept me flipping those pages.

A lot of the characters in this story are unhinged and unlikeable, but that didn't lead me astray from wanting the mystery to be solved!

If you're a fan of popcorn thrillers, then this one is for you!

Thanks to Atria Books for the early copy for review!
