Fangirl Down by Tessa Bailey
4.0

If you told me that I'd read a book about a golf romance and enjoy it I'd think you were crazy but here I am obsessed with this story.

What you can expect:
- Sports Romance
- Professional Golfer x Fangirl Caddie
- Grumpy x Sunshine
- Forced Proximity
- Chronic Illness/Type 1 Diabetes Rep
- He Falls First and HARD
- Dual POV

Fangirl Down is my first Tessa Bailey book and won't be my last! I finished this book in one night, I haven't stayed up all night reading in a while but I couldn't put this book down, guys.

I had no idea what to expect going into this book but it was so funny and such an easy lighthearted, fun, and sweet read with lots of pining and yearning, a jealous and protective MC, and an independent badass FMC.. I liked the dynamic and relationship between Josephine and Wells. Wells is a professional supposedly washed-up golfer, and Josephine, his biggest sunshine fan turned caddie. The romance was really well written, it was the perfect mix of slow burn, yearning, angst, and sexy steamy swoony romance. The chemistry between Wells and Josephine was off the charts from the very start of the book and the banter between them had me laughing out loud.

Some moments were so cute that they had me giggling and swooning while others were spicyyyy and had me blushing like crazy. I love the way the author did the third-act breakup scene, it was emotional and sad but there was no unnecessary miscommunication.

I am hyped to pick up book 2, The Au Pair Affair which is about Josephine's best friend Tallulah and daddy Burgess.
