I got this book on a deal from BookBub - 4 of Joni Rodgers books in a bundle.
I really enjoyed this story. Based off Hurricane Katrina in the South - with memos that were actually released after the Freedom of Information Act passed. Two former lovers get stuck together to ride out the storm, catch a killer, and just survive one of the biggest disasters in US history. Shay & Corbin are from two totally different sides of the track - from their obs to how they were brought up - but smehow they find themselves together at the start of the hurricane, and have to survive.
NOTE: Now that I've finished all 4 books in this pack, this one was my favorite.
