Well, I mean, I kinda saw this coming, I knew going into this that the whole bet plot is usually a miss for me, and granted this book didn't really play into that super hard, it DID however have miscommunication and as we all know that is just not something I have time for. The banter was pretty good however and that's really the only think that kept me reading.

I just want to add a small(is) complaints section down here where I exclusively complain about the Mother, because GOOD LORD this woman was TEST-ING my patience.

Not only does this woman learn absolutely nothing and really doesn't develop in any meaningful way, she continually calls her daughter fat and never, not once apologizes or realizes that her comments and actions are damaging in any way, I really just don't understand what the point is of adding that to the plot if the Mother never realizes the error of her ways. It was quite possibly the most annoying thing about this book.
Okay, vent over
