Love at First Date by Susan Hatler
3.0
Ellen is 30 years old and is desperately looking for love. On her mothers advice she joined an online dating serving and has now narrowed her choices down to 2 men with whom she was planning to set up in-person dates.
To be honest at the end of chapter one I thought that the main character, Ellen, would be a ditsy dumb blonde who couldn't do anything right. Afterall, she had almost killed her best friends dog.
Instead she met the man of her dreams at the vets where she took the dog after it was choking on a hairball.
This is a novella, but even in 7 chapters Ellen learns how to take a chance on love and to stop following other peoples rules or preconceived ideas.
I was more than satisfied with the ending of this book.
