The Narrows by Michael Connelly

4.0

The serial killer known as The Poet is back. Agent Rachel Walling has been summoned from South Dakota to Nevada as he's left a message for her and some bodies have been discovered. Harry Bosch has retired from LAPD and is working as a PI when he's not visiting his young daughter in Las Vegas. A friend's widow has contacted him as she wants him to investigate her husband's death - it's been classed as natural causes but some toxicology results have shown some anomalies. Soon Rachel and Harry cross paths and it seems they are both on the trail of the same person. Another excellent read from Michael Connelly - love how he's linked characters and stories from his other books to create this story - really enjoyed it.
