Without a doubt, one of the best books I have ever read. Ken Follett is a master. If I could give The Pillars of the Earth six stars, I definitely would. Going in, I wondered if I would enjoy it, but any doubt I may have had, quickly went away. The characters were amazing and the storytelling was magnificent.
