If you would read any play by Oscar Wilde it should be this one; brilliant characterisation, his witticism, shows Wilde’s fantastic ability in dabbling comedy and critique of the privileged in a satirical way, and of course his wonderful writing in of itself.

This was a reread for my uni module, but any chance to reread Oscar Wilde is one I will gladly take.

I earlier read this play in a collected works edition of Wilde, so here's my review of that.
