This book was too sad like no!!!! When i was going into this book IK what was going to happen cause I read powerless, but I was dreading going into the book after what happened in the last book. It was worse than I thought. I was SOBBING! But nonetheless the book was still amazing Lauren knows how to write a book. If you’re reading this book I recommend to keep a box of tissues within reach!
But other than that Mak is Amazing and I love him!! He like the morally grey guy that only has a soft spot for Adena or Hera. I just want to give him a big hug.
Adena on the other hand was a ray of sunshine, Ik i love Pae but i feel like I connected more with Dena like her character is so loveable.
I am indeed in a million broken pieces after this book, but I still liked it gave us a better insight on Adena and without this book I wouldn’t be this close to her.
