Joe Schreiber masterfully captured the eerie atmosphere of both the prison barge and the derelict Star Destroyer, making the story chillingly immersive. However, the characters felt underdeveloped and lacked depth; richer backstories would have added more weight to the narrative. Nonetheless, it was an entertaining read, packed with gore and fast-paced action. Han and Chewie’s surprise appearance was a delightful addition that fit seamlessly into the plot without overshadowing the other characters.
