This is a book that stayed with me for years after reading it, especially the part near the end where the man dies of rabies and the ending itself. For years I would think about this book, unable to remember the name and then when reading the book "Rabid" they described several scenes in the book and it all came back. This book is on a ton of must read lists like 1001 books you must read before you die.
