Give Me Butterflies by Jillian Meadows is super cute and spring coded. Perfect for bookish nerds and deals with shedding your skin to emerge new and free.
Millie is a bright, determined, and dare I say a little clumsy FMC. But I think she stumbled into the perfect grump this time. I loved how much support Millie had around her; family, friends, even colleagues. The found family in this book is top tier.
Finn is the perfect swoon worthy MMC. He’s nerdy, thoughtful, and protective. His love and devotion to his nieces and the role that’s fallen on his shoulders is bittersweet to read about but so so so worth it.
I enjoyed the dual P.O.V and having insight on both characters’ outside struggles while still finding happiness in one another.
I can’t wait for the 2nd book about Millie’s sister Fable. Her moments were so funny😂
Graphic: Bullying, Death, Grief, Death of parent, Gaslighting
