Hill Women: Finding Family and a Way Forward in the Appalachian Mountains by Cassie Chambers

5.0

The lives of women across several generations told by one who 'got out' and then 'went back'. The voices of this country are important and need to be heard. While this wasn't a flawless telling it was beautiful and an important narrative to be added to the fabric. This is a quick book that will give you a slice of another perspective. Worth the read.
