DNF:
My girl Nor here is first showed to be brave (saving her sisters life or whatever) and rebellious, and at first I liked her. She said how much wants to go to land and see new things then when she gets to ilara shes legit scared of everything but also says that everything looks beautiful gorgeous etc. them BAM shes in the castle and is super excited to meet the prince. Prince comes and shes like “no i dont like him” hes mean and cruel...you legit just met him and you were so freaking rude!! Then she says my land is way nicer than this place (bruh...then why did you keep yearing for an adventure in new land) aghhh. She’s meant to be spying and getting on his good side but no she gotta complain about everything and be a brat (gosh sorry Im just irritated). I dont know bout you but I found it hard to believe that Nor and Talin fell in love solely after having 4 brief conversations. If anything I was kinda shipping Nor with Grig— who she had wayyy more interaction with( only me? ok) or even Ceren. Just felt like the romance was a total disappointment. I did love the beginning with Nor and Zeal in Varenia— the setting, culture and the sister bond were enticing...but the more I read the less I liked it...it started off as a solid 4 for me but now its got to be about a 1.5 . The only character that actually had me interested was Cerenbut nope I find that he was obviously that gets killed off. Really disappointed...it didnt live up to its potential.
