I loved the story. It is story of a lesbian girl named Codi who does not feel like teenager, because she feels that she has not done things like that enough. And then she meets this guy named Ricky, accidentally getting to know his secret, and they then slowly become friends, and she begun to make new friends without her best friends. It is coming-of-age story, with lesbian character who felt shy and an introvert. It talks about the labels and the romantic and platonic experiences in one's teenage years. I loved the story because even though it is YA, it is relatable to people who might have felt lost out on teenager experiences. It does not absolve of the mistakes of everyone, but shows them as how Codi sees them and herself.
