Current Overall Series Rating: 4/5
Thoughts: Josei series are mostly geared to "older" women (and by older the demographic is usually late teens and up) and generally have a more "mature" story since it's a step up from shojo. This has a lot of action and violence when you compare it to most shojo manga, but it's clearly not on the same level as action and violence in shonen manga. This manga has an interesting take on vampires. The story is very straightforward as there's a clear bad guy, but there are some sub-plots thrown in that keep the manga interesting. I'd usually rate something like this around 3.5 stars, but I rounded up to 4 since I really do like Ash and Mahiru's development. Also, this is just a fun manga that I don't need to stress out over paying attention to.
