Once again I didn’t dislike this book but I think it was missing something. I’m guessing we will get that something in the final instalment.
**spoilers incoming**
We still didn’t learn anything about her stalker or who hired her wannabe killers. Just tiny bits of information and I think from plot perspective this one fell a little flatter than the other books so far.
I like Archer and Madison Kates redemption arc, I am intrigued as to how that group dynamic is gonna work tho.
I do continue to love Madison Kate’s inner snarky monologues and I think they are the only amusing thing getting me through.
I’m going to need action and PLOT in this next instalment because I have questions that need answers. I just hope we get them.
Also, pretty sure we had a Hades appearance in this one, or if I read that situation right it was a “placeholder” and clearly Cas is secretly obsessed with her. (Although I read all these back to back so it could have been book 2?)
The final 60 seconds of this book was a wild cliffhanger and has given me so many questions. Oh Tate James, you have me hook, line and sinker once again.
