Rush and Hunter
PLEASE be aware that this review is meant for my own purposes only in order to help me recall this book and is in no way a reflection of what I think anyone else will like or want out of a book. It is simply a memory aid and a rough voice-to-text which is completely unedited/reviewed for errors. Read at your own discretion.
When Rush (who has several ADHD) shows up at his bf of 1 year house dressed as a slutty Christmas elf and finds his bf there with his fiancée and family, he is shocked and humiliated. He runs away and is found in the cold by the fiancé, Hunter, who calls him a ride. Meanwhile Hunter has just moved to Seattle to be with Ian and breaking up with him, leaves him without somewhere to live. When Hunter shows up to his first day of work at his new job, both men are shocked to find out that Rush is part of Hunter’s team at the insurance agency. The two of them decide to get vengeance on Ian and kiss, with the intention of making a video. This propels them into an attraction that they then pursue. They quickly fall into feelings, but have a lot of stuff to work through. The biggest issue is that Rush has raging ADHD. They figure out that Ian has blacklisted Hunter and that’s why he can’t find anywhere to stay. They try to get information on him, and eventually Rush figures out that there are probably email documents. They bring this to Ian‘s boss and it works.
This was another great Saxon book with the Bertha boys.Rush’s ADHD definitely seemed to have components of autism also. This is a great book of Neuro-divergent acceptance. There were cameos from all the birth boys with more interaction with Madden, Seven and a little bit with Molly. We also find out that Madden is in love with his best friend Penn.
Audiobook was well done but I preferred the written
