Am I misremembering or does this book not jive with the back story we are given in the Savannah Reid series? I thought Savannah and her siblings were rescued from the ally behind the bar where her mother was drinking by some big tall policemen and delivered to Granny Reid and that is where her desire to be a policewoman came from. Of course at the end of the book there are only 7 Reid siblings and we know that there will ultimately be 9 so perhaps somehow this will all make sense in the end. More realistically I think I can just expect some loosey goosey consistency that you get in almost all silly cozies.
