Like most anthologies this was very hit and miss. I started skipping stories that I wasn't enjoying, usually because the writing style struck me as a bit clunky. I did find a few authors I really enjoyed and want to try other books of theirs, so still a successful experience overall.
I really appreciated that this collection was intentionally PG13 or lower on content, but I was still a bit surprised by the range of what that meant. Some stories were a bit grittier than the rest on violence and overall tone/darkness, and one included infidelity as a major theme in the story. Most did fall in the YA or 'light adult read you could easily give to a teen' zone, and a couple even felt like they were aimed a middle grade audience.
