Reading this was like coming home to some of my favorite characters. THE dragon series was the series that got me into fantasy books when I was younger and now reading this as an adult brought so much joy.
I LOVED reading about what came of Murtagh after Inheritance and this book brought such depth and character development throughout. It brought so much empathy and understanding into who Murtagh is as a character. The adventure, world building, and pacing throughout was *chefs kiss* I was worried I would forget a lot and I was glad that there was plenty of background for me to remember all that happened in this world!
