Absolutely delightful. A dark and twisted tale that reflects on the power of the written word. A book that spoke to me directly and warned me of the awful things that I had in store by the time I finished it.
Many of the low star reviews are from people who were unable to read past the words and acknowledge Barker's intent of his love of books. As with all works it has its flaws but I can look past those due to the amount of fun I had when I read this.
The audiobook is performed by Doug Bradley (Pinhead) and his performance made listening to this wacky story all the more fun.
